watching the video "Wealth Inequality in America," please discuss why
this country is defined as a middle-class society when, as the video says, most
middle-class Americans are barely distinguishable from the poor. Propose
one solution on a national level that you think should be implemented to reduce
the gap between the rich and poor in this country.

The United States of America is defined as a middles class society because most of the state's wealth is owned by few citizens, while the largest portion of population is left with almost nothing. The wealthy individuals in the country represent only one percent, while the poor people represent ninety two percent. The lowers class of individuals in the country is too big compared to the middle and upper levels of the population. For 30 years now, the portion of the state's wealth going into the few people has increased. The increased wealth inequality is mainly it attributed to low investment rate in the country. Wealthy individuals accumulate wealth instead of re-investing to facilitate resource circulation in the economy.
