Human medicine is one of the areas of the economy that has significantly changed, mainly due to the dynamic nature of human ailments as well as advancement in technology. As such, the variation of medical-knowhow creates pressure on patients to seek services in countries that are well-vested in performing specific medical procedures at a competitive advantage cost compared with the home country (Fotaki, 2015). Additionally, the fantasies of having a procedure done abroad have also been on the rise, particularly relating the cosmetic procedures for both men and women. However, even with the inclination towards seeking medical services abroad, one has to consider several factors such as the quality comparison between home and overseas, cost comparison, as well as popularity and success rate on critical procedures.
