Hi. I agree with you that people who have bad lifestyle behaviors have become a burden to our healthcare systems. Specifically, you indicate that some people come to hospital regularly for high blood pressure due to poor diet and it is something that they can control. I believe this problem is common everywhere. I also see in a community where people engage in drug addiction and end up expectation the government to take care of their medical expenditure. When these same people are taken to rehabilitation centers, they do not want to transform their bad lifestyles. These I feel are among the reasons why healthcare is and will continue to be a privilege become some member of our communities today and have decided to abuse the right leading to constraint in government budget (Verulava, 2021). I think the fact that other countries have adopted and maintained healthcare as a right is a challenge for American to relook at the regulation and reforms that healthcare should have to also make it a right.
