The Black Population in the United
States
The
black population in the united states is much less than whites, although
African Americans form the second largest race in the united states after the
whites. Hispanics and Asians have the least populations (Iceland et al., 2005). The United States population
based on the 2020 Census shows that the population of African Americans or
Blacks was 12.4 percent of the total population while the whites had a
population of 61.6 percent of the total population. Native Hawaii had the least
population of 0.2 percent of the total (United States Census Bureau, 2020).
