This is a research paper. Students will conduct a research project around a topic related to their interests and the major themes of the course. Thus, you will have the opportunity to explore various issues pertaining to schools, society, social justice, multiculturalism, history, philosophy, and so forth outside of the classroom.You will write an 8-12-page research paper on your approved topic. In addition to sharing your findings on this topic, your paper should discuss how this project enhances your understanding about the dynamic interplay between schools and society, note any substantive connections between your topic and the materials used in this course, and explain how this project influences your thinking about the future of schooling.
