According to Burn 1978, I think jobs never maximized his follower's full potential because whenever his followers did mistakes in their work, he would get upset and rebuke then instead of telling them the best way to do things. For instance, when the two young programmers didn't perform well in their design, he criticized them for their mistakes, and it did not go well with them. Again he never consults his follower in making changes in projects, which translates to the unutilized potential of employees to make constructive decisions
