Glam Slam Spa Day (a select group of girls age 6-9 in conjunction with Govan’s Elementary School and Morgan State University’s, National Council of Negro Women)

1.      My involvement in this event entailed providing finances to buy Glam Slam Spa Day supplies for the young girls. I also managed my Spa employees to take part in decorating the children.

2.      The young girls felt thrilled with the service they received during the Spa day. They got a chance to open up about the difficulties they face in life.

3.      I met the goals of the Glam Slam Spa Day by successfully managing to purchase the supplier. Secondly, I managed to liaise with my employee to entertain the children.

4.      My involvement in the Glam Slam Spa Day affected me by improving my realizing on my ability to manage my employees towards achieving a common goal. I also learned a lot from the stories which we shared with the children at the Spa, and it was fascinating to see how determined they were to lead better lives.

Girls Expecting More Success (G.E.M.S.), through the Baltimore City School Police Force where I donated use of my spa, performed beauty services and provided a free spa day and staff to assist with approximately 30 youth camp members age 8-15 in the summer
