Write a letter and email about a series of blogs or some
major articles from business publications for the industry you chose earlier.
Your letter should be written to your boss who works in the industry and who
wants fresh ideas.
This assignment requires the submission of two items: a
properly formatted letter to be printed out by the recipient and a properly
formatted email. You may submit them as one document, but please start each one
on a fresh page within your document. For both, the communication will be
informal but businesslike. They should be timely, with important details and
they should be accommodating to a client. The letter should have proper
business correspondence formatting. The email will be less formal, but will
still be businesslike and should be formatted for easy reading, preferably so
that the client can read it on one screen.
Write a letter of about two pages which summarizes either
a series of blogs regarding your chosen industry or some major articles from
business publications regarding a contemporary issue in your chosen industry.
Be sure to cite your sources using APA style and do the background research to
understand the issues you are discussing. This assignment will be useful in
assessing the state of your industry and how it will be affected by the issue
you chose to research. Keep track of your references for this section since you
may include some or all of them in the reference page for the Final Report
Project.
The content of the email will be the same as the letter
but less formal and more succinct in its information.
