What I Thought American Culture Would be and What it was Really Like

In some cases, mostly when uncertain situations face one, there is a tendency to speculate how the result would turn to. Culture is a way of doing things that are commonly accepted by people of a particular region. I always thought American culture is praiseworthy and well-adopted by nations across the world, and it turned true because I came to learn that, just like my initial idea of how American culture was like, Americans are good to foreigners and admire norms from other societies.

When growing up, my idea of what American is was solely based on how superior it is in the economic and the military world, making its culture great. So, I always imagined that they would be excellent for foreigners.

Secondly, I thought that every community in the world would like to do exactly what America does in terms of religion, values, governance, and even equality and liberty. I could not imagine why any...
