The author argues that despite the various revealing dissimilarities concerning emphasis, it is imperative to acknowledge that all religions believe in a symbol of superiority which is God. Nonetheless, in other faiths that existed during the Axial Age did not believe in the existence of gods as they were not essential. The Axial faiths concluded that people should not speculate about spirits or details of an afterlife, notably because they were devoid of the knowledge concerning various world-happenings. Thus, all religions did not have faith in practical suggestions, but they stress the need of people to use religion to change the way they behave.
