In most of the cases, a 24-hour economy will require most of the employees to be organized in schedules in order to take up operation practices that enable production to serve the new economy. This leads to unpredictable schedules that can force an employee to attend to the company’s operations away from the workplace and families. Also, in this economic model, one is not really psychologically prepared to work since one doesn't know when they will be required to turn up for work with varying working hours and conditions which can significantly affect a personal plan.
