·       What is big data?

Big data means massive volumes of data that are either structured or unstructured, found in a daily business operation (Members, 2019).

·       How is it different from healthcare (or small) data?

Big data is different from healthcare data in that it is concerned a collaboration of massive sources of information that businesses from different parts of the world can use in decision making. On the other hand, healthcare data implies information maintained by a facility for internal use only (Members, 2019).
