Technology and Ideas
The period between 500 and 1500AD represents
the period between the collapse of the Western Roman Empire and Western
colonization into the Empire. The invention of the Western colonizers helped
rediscover and improve lost right the destruction of the Empire. Some of the
aspects rediscovered in the Greco-Roman via Western civilization include the
learning institutions, churches, and advancement of farming methods in the
agricultural sector. However, now all the Roman economy facets were
rediscovered, and thus sectors such as manufacturing, transport, and communication.
First, law administration in the Roman Empire
after the legion's departure is one of the roman aspects that contribute to Western
civilization, 500-1500AD. During the collapse of the Roman Empire, Learning
institutions and churches stood the pressure and thus prevailed after the storm
(Denecke, 2014). Such institutions acted
as the primary source of motivation for forming the new civilization developed
in Western Europe. Besides, the Christian church also remained firm during the
collapse of the Roman Empire and thus is very instrumental in the Western
Region of Europe. Roman reception of law and administration excreted its
influence in Western civilization right after the departure of the Western
provinces' legions.
Lastly, western civilization can be interpreted, and Greco-Roman technology's aspect is to advance agricultural activities from using simple tools to more advanced tools and equipment. Initially, Romans plowed their land using simple tools such as a hoe and simple plow (Herman, 2014). Western Europe had more advanced farming tools.
