INSTRUCTIONS:
What is the “unifying theory of geology?” Why is it called a “unifying” theory? Describe, in your own words, how it explains the existence of mountains, volcanoes, and earthquakes. Be specific about each of these three items, including the different types of plate movements and/or plate boundaries associated with them. Give a real-life example of a landform that exists at each of the three types of plate boundaries. Finally, briefly summarize the story of Alfred Wegener as told in the video in this module. Your completed assignment should be 4-5 paragraphs in length.
