Often, within the United States, people tend to talk about supply chain management in healthcare without truly considering what those words mean. Supply chain management can directly impact costs, quality, and outcomes in patient care and healthcare spending. Discuss the new process that can be used to make it easier for all impacted individuals. As an operations manager, you often have to "think outside of the box" or get creative to reduce costs, while continuing to provide quality care. Your paper should: Provide support for your statements with in-text citations from a minimum of 3-4 scholarly articles. These sources should not be more than 3-5 years old. Two of these sources may be from the class readings, textbook, or lectures, but four must be external.
