An interaction between a business and another, between people and businesses, as well as between a person and another is governed by law. These laws exist in different forms. One of such popular types of laws in business and in real life is torts law. In simplest terms, it implies to a law that monitors wrongful acts that may meted on another person leading a legal liability. There existing three main types of law of torts, international, negligence, and strict liability. The purpose of this research discussion is to illustrate example of each type of tort, provide facts, legal elements, applications, as well as possible potential questioning that can be used to validate legal defenses.

Intentional tort implies to situation where a perform wrong another one willingly. These wrongful acts are associated and determine based on the extent of damage that is caused on the aggrieved party. A good example of an intentional tort is inflicting emotional distress. This happens when a person conducts is so obviously abnormal causing another person to feel threatened. For example, a person can cause emotional destress to another by tossing a gun on air and walking rapidly towards the person who experiences emotional distress.

The main legal element of tort under this case is that the distresses part will feel uncomfortable due to the nature in which they are approached by a person tossing a gun on the air. However, a person cannot claim to have suffered any emotional distress if they cannot prove the following.
