Collaboration Between School and Community

Diversity in communities is a trend that cannot be reversed, mainly because people have the freedom to live and even attend school wherever they like as long as they follow the rules. On the same note, diversity in our communities is inevitable because it helps human beings relate. In our schools, diversity should be encouraging since it leads to a better understanding of human differences, foster tolerance, and generate growth.

First, schools should seek to build collaboration because it is the only way people can understand each other. For example, a student from a particular community can negatively perceive students from another community. The only way to solve such issues is to collaborate with communities around the school to learn and understand each other.
