In the theories of the state, a state considered as a source of political power that is unified and peculiar to a particular territory. Dunleavy & O’Leary (1987) define the theories of a state as parameters that guide and treat a nation as a community in which the people have to work together, governed by the same rules. This governance, however, is placed in the hands of a few individuals or political governing bodies.
