The state of LGBTQ+ rights varies from one country to another. Specifically, different states in the United States view the issue of LGBTQ+ rights from different perspectives. In California, for example, the lesbianism, gay, bisexual, transgender are social practices that had gained recognition since as early as the 1970s. This legalization of LGBTQ+ means that California has been in the front line to support the diversity of human life views. Therefore, California is keen on human rights as far as LGBTQ+ people are concerned. Increased cases of violence and sanctions against LGBTQ+ should alarm everyone due to the possibility of stigmatization that may lead to stress or even suicide by individuals. For example, when LGBTQ+ individuals are approached with violence, they may feel rejected.
