According to Busch & Givens (2012), increasing firms’ involvement in matters of national security is a very paramount aspect that cannot be overlooked. To enhance homeland security's main agenda in providing secure societies, all the stakeholders have to join hands in fructify this call. Therefore, I feel that the government at all levels have to bring sufficient collaboration within its bodies and private sectors to offer a viable incentive that will enable greater participation. For example, by providing private sector sensitization on security matters could highly influence their readiness to partners in security concerns. Furthermore, providing awareness to the private sectors will enable the stakeholders to develop the realization of the greater need to support homeland security objectives for the greater good of the nation.

The BPAT has achieved massive success as a result of incorporating its members within the movement. The members are trained to identify the actions or potential threats that can lead to insecurity.
