In its daily operations, an organization is faced by several aspects that cannot be managed or controlled easily since they emanate from outside the firm. However, some factors are internal and can be controlled by the organizational managers. Through its staffing approach, the Community Festival Organization is faced by both internal and external factors that may inhibit its current performance.

i.               External Analysis

The Community Festival organization if faced by both opportunities and threats. First, the company has an opportunity of developing a strong workforce that is keen on details to avoid similar issues such as the one caused by Mark. Being a service company, the operation accuracy becomes key towards evaluation the quality of service being offered. For example, in the case study, the employee printed the wrong phone numbers which may mean that the intended clients will not be contacted which creates inconveniences. After streamlining the professionalism, the firm is most likely to attract more investors improving the competitive advantage. According to James (2016), firms rely on opportunities to gain competitiveness.
