What connections do you see between Alexie and his father?

            The connection that exists between the Sherman Alexie and his father is that both are avid readers. The author describes himself as a lucky child notably because his father loved to read. For that reason, getting inspired by his father to start reading, as a child he developed an interest in books, with a Superman Comic book representing his first experience and journey towards being a reader. He started off by interpreting the message in the pictures draw in the book, and after some time, Sherman Alexie was able to read the words. Besides, reading made a difference in Sherman Alexie’s life as well as that of his father.
