Strategic Plan to
Mitigate Employees’ Departures
Employees’ departure is a common
phenomenon that affects all organizations, either small or large. The essential
idea is how companies deal with the reality of losing a trusted and committed
employee. Staff departure is also referred to as employees' turnover; a
situation where employees decide to resign to work for other companies or to
pursue personal businesses. The main reason why employees are essential to an
organization is that some are highly gifted and effective in achieving goals
for an organization, that is why it becomes critical for companies to lose
strategic staff, such as tenured managers. Human resources capital is essential
in the achievement of organizational goals; that is why efforts to remedy any
employees' rapid departure should be implemented as soon as possible to ensure
business operations remain in perpetuity (John, 2016). Based on the case study given, this
report discusses the recruitment process, develop pre-boarding and onboarding
plan, and identifies policies and practices to reduce employees' turnover rates
in the future.
