I selected this story as it provides children with essential lessons on trust, and provides them with the necessary knowledge. The crucial aspect of a story is that it contains an experience that educates children (Coats, 2013). I believe that this story allows youngsters to understand the necessity of trust in life. For instance, the gingerbread boy trusts the cunning fox and ends up getting harmed. As a result, the teachings in this story make it a suitable piece for my audience.
To attain an effective presentation, I will successfully tell the story to my listeners using the following steps, for example, first I will customize it to fulfill their expectation. Second, I will make the point clear by keeping the narration short (Coats, 2013). Lastly, I will use my body language to prepare my audience and anticipate their reaction. All of these steps will allow me to relay my story and relate with my listeners effectively.
