When growing up, I was always puzzled by the fact that there exists a considerable divergence between human beings in the communities we live in today. The fact that I did not know what triggers people to live how they conduct the lives within the society made me even more curious to understand the dynamics of human and the underlying aspects such as gender, religion, norms the social institution, and most importantly, the behaviors which are considered dear to a community. These puzzling questions lead me to want to do sociology in my university studies as a way of quenching my curiosity.

I am applying for a position in your university with an understanding that our societies have changed by becoming more metropolitan hence calling for an explicit knowledge of sociology which can enable human beings to co-exist peacefully.
