Stakeholders in Camping Project

During the camping period, various stakeholders will be engaged to make the planned operations a fulfilling adventure. Since the project is aimed at understanding the desert environment, socializing with people in dry regions, and familiarizing the team with the survival condition for the desert people, various stakeholders will be engaged to make the project legal and at the same time educational. Besides, the project also seeks to identify role-playing ability among the members of the teams to promote the leadership and facilitate cultural exchange within the people from arid areas, which is the central region of our focus. In his journal on “The Role of Dynamics in Stakeholder Thinking,” Windsor (2010) presents an argument that stakeholders are an essential component of any activity since the success or failure lies within the influence and willingness of the key stakeholders to support the project.

The first core stakeholder is the team that comprises a group of dedicated participants who will be conducting all the operation at the ground to ensure successful accomplishment of the mission. Every member of the team has a specific role to play to make sure all the elements such as entertainment, food, transportation, and all other camping utilities are put together in time. All the team members are expected to hold a high sense of responsibility and punctuality since their involvement and influence to the success of the project is very high.

Secondly, we will engage a sponsor so that we can get sufficiently funded during our stay. Most of the team members are not working hence financially unable to support the project mission. Therefore, getting a reliable source of fund is instrumental in our project since we cannot manage to conduct the activities mentioned above without finances. In the project, the sponsor will play the role of providing travel expenses, food and accommodation, and most importantly ensure efficient flow of fund in time during the period of the project. Besides, the sponsor is an integral part of our team’s stakeholders since his interest in the project is very. He is interested in ensuring the primary objective of the team is achieved.
