photo below is an example of ‘breadwinner moms’ that was published by The
Atlantic. It portrays the struggle that women go through when providing for
their children. In the image, a woman is seen in deep thought while resting
next to her son. Her son is also depicted as being less jovial, which is
contrary to kids his age. Based on the condition of the picture, one can
conclude that the mother and her young son share a bed maybe because their
house is small. The photo represents what single parents in the United States
go through, mainly those with low income.
