survivors in transitional housing. Journal of family violence, 34(4),
275-286.
The authors of the article discuss the
connection between domestic violence and increased cases of homelessness in the
United States. The authors indicate that increased domestic violence leads to a
high number of street families due to a lack of commitment to pay the home
mortgage or rent. The researchers used a descriptive research method targeting
street families and people in low-income earners as the main respondents in the
study. This research method helps the researcher to explain the situation of homelessness
among the target population.
The result of the study reveals that homeless
has increased considerably since 2015. One of the reasons identified by the
author of this article is that decreased disposable income and skyrocketing
prices of rent or ownership of houses have made it practically impossible for
low-income earners to live in decent homes or even own them in the long

adopted exploratory design to analyze changes that have affected homestead on
matters of owning a home or having a place one can call home. The selected
