Scene safety, while it is the first point to be addressed on a skill check sheet, is often overlooked or downplayed in real life. How significant scene safety is taken is often dependent on the responder(s). In order to provide the most current, best-practice recommendations in your own organization, it is helpful to further develop and enhance your understanding through a literature review. *Conduct a literature review on a specific related area to explain scene safety management concerning infectious disease A literature review is a compilation or summary of the findings resulting from research into the topic of your choice; however, you may select one or choose from any topic area from above. You are not expressing your opinion, but objectively summarizing the views of others as it relates to the topic. These views are generally limited to professional or evidence-based as a result of research or expert investigation. Your literature review must be a minimum of two pages, not including the cover or reference pages. Use APA style when writing your review. Cite any direct quotes or paraphrases from the article, and include any references used in your review in a references page. References should include no less than five academically credible or peer-reviewed sources.
