INSTRUCTIONS:
A thorough research plan for a public and nonprofit sector administrator. The reason being is to be able to distinguish between valid research and research that is faulty. Special Instructions: Prepare a research plan for a topic that is aligned to your career field. Thoroughly identify and discuss the following components that comprise your research plan such as: I. Sources of Data - What will be the sources of data you will use in your research? Be specific as to the primary and secondary sources of your data. II. Research Approach - Describe if your research design will be qualitative or quantitative and discuss why you chose this approach. III. Method(s) of Data Gathering - Describe how the data will be collected, i.e survey, questionnaire, test, etc IV. Sampling Plan - Describe how you will identify the subjects that data will be collected from and the sampling method. V. Method(s) as to how you would collect information from your research subjects - Explain what medium you will use to collect the data, i.e. telephone, mailing, inperson interview and why you chose this method. Writing Requirements: • Use proper business memo format (single space within paragraphs, double space within them). • Comply with APA guidelines pertaining to margins (1 inch), font size and type (12 pt Arial or Times New Roman), title and reference pages and source attribution within the memo
