INSTRUCTIONS:

It must be at least 1000 words. It must be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt font, be double spaced, and have justified margins. It is worth 15% of the term grade. It must cite at least four sources in total, with at least one primary source. Students should use one of the following citation styles: MLA, APA, or Chicago. Students will choose one of three options to complete.             The Capstone paper tests the student’s knowledge of what they have learned throughout the semester. It is a synthesis paper, bringing together major themes found among the religions we have covered throughout the semester. The idea of this assignment is to bring everything together and demonstrate your knowledge and organization of what you have learned throughout the semester.   Capstone Paper Options: 1)     Axial Age in Asian Religions: Students must reflect on the Axial Age and how religions of Asia developed during this period. Please touch on at least three developments of the Axial Age in Asian religions and philosophies. Concluding the paper, students should articulate why Asian axial age developments are relevant to a modern, western context. Please do not integrate Greek or Abrahamic traditions. Please integrate the Panikkar Axial Age reading into your response along with the three other required sources.
