Reflective Writing: I Was Stuck in Traffic Jam on My Way to Work

I was already late for work, but the traffic jam was so intense that the cars could hardly move.  I was not at peace because my boss persisted in calling mean one minute after another to know how far I was from the place of work. An explosion occurred some distance from I was, which caused chaos and commotion on the read to worsen the matter. I then decided to tell my boss point-blank that the situation is not likely to improve anytime soon because of the explosion, which caused more confusion. Besides, I began to save myself from the harm that could emanate from the blast.

After the explosion, I assured me the traffic was not likely to end soon, so I decided to take another route that could enable me to be at the place of work in about three to four hours. If it were not for the explosion that occurred, with the traffic jam, I could get to work in less than an hour, but the explosion overturned almost everything and pushed the arrival time further. With the explosion's occurrence, my attention shifted automatically from paving my way through the traffic jam and arrive on at the job to securing my life from the harm emanating from the explosion.
