Racial and ethnic conflict may never culminate in the workplace due to various reasons. First, racial bias is witnessed when some employees feel they are not receiving equal benefits compared to their workmates in the same organization. According to LeDuff (2000), black men in the Slaughterhouse believed that the Mexicans were being exempted from tax obligations as opposed to the blacks who did not receive any exemptions. Further, LeDuff (2000) depicts the director of purchasing in the organization saying that the labor would be reserved on the basis of race and ethnic which eventually led to the firing of the blacks and reinstating Latinos in their place. Through the creation of this boundaries, employees in the same organization feel that the other group, with different race and geographical background, is the ultimate cause of their suffering or hardship. Holding high perception about how one part is treated better will lead to a constant hatred that only ends at the intervention by the management.
