The paper will explore the implications of a specific mental health policy on a specific population. Topics for consideration are included in the class syllabus (pgs. 10-11). If you plan to pick another topic, you will need prior approval from the instructor. The paper must follow the following outline; 1. Introduction 2. Scope of the Problem 3. Impact of Policy on Chosen Population 4. Theoretical Framework 5. Implications for the Mental Health System 6. Implications for Social Work Practice 7. Recommendations for Mental Health Practice 8. Conclusion The final paper must be 10-15 pages, typed (Times New Roman, 12pt. font), double-spaced, using the APA format, which include underlined sub-headings, in-text citations and references. The title page and references pages DO NOT count towards the page limit.  Any paper that does not conform to these requirements will not be graded.
