Pride and Prejudice Essay Follow the assignment instructions and review the rubric: After you read "Pride and Prejudice" complete the following activity:  Write a five-paragraph essay on Pride and Prejudice.  Consider the title of the novel, Pride and Prejudice. Which characters can be seen as representations of “pride” and which can be seen as “prejudice?” What is Austen’s purpose in creating such characters?  Please remember the following:  Write a thesis statement that concisely describes your thoughts and opinions relating to your chosen prompt. Then, thoroughly answer the prompt in your essay.  Support your opinions with evidence from the text. Your essay must include at least 3 direct quotes from the text (always with a page number citation). A single quote should not exceed three lines of text.  The essay must follow five-paragraph essay structure  The essay must have a title- not “Pride and Prejudice Essay.” Be creative!
