a) Voters
across the continent of Africa are looking forward to electing their political
representative in 2020. And the elections processes might be free, unfair or
and others might have the potential to turn violent.
Algerian government will be preoccupied
with a transition to a new government.
Burkina Faso will hold the election in
September 2020, but the process might be affected by violence taking place in
the country.
For the first time, Somali voters will
elect their president direct through the ballot.
Sudanese lawmakers are planning to remove
Sudan from the United States from list of states- an action aimed at opening
Sudan to outside investors.
b) From
the video Citizens of South Africa are encouraged to invest more in innovation
to create job opportunities for themselves and others than relying on the
government to offer those jobs.
The citizens encouraged to improve the conditions
of their country rather than leaving immigrating to other countries to look for
opportunities because what is happening in South Africa is happening in any
other country across the globe.
South Africa receive a lot of harvest of
maize followed by the long dry season. It is predicted that the draught from
September characterizes 2020 if the government sells the harvested maize the
citizens will force to import maize shortly.
South Africa is predicting low-income
generation in this year which will be facilitated by the restrictions the
government of South Africa is receiving other countries.
Citizens are encouraged to learn from
others to implement changes in South Africa rather than living in the past.
c) Foreigners
are interested in wealth Africa like minerals rather than the people of Africa.
The development of African countries is
hindered by their corrupt leader who sometimes who sign deal yielding to
personal gain.
Many foreign countries are interested in
Africa and are competing to build embassies in Africa with china being the
leading foreigner to move into Africa, creating a total of 45 embassies in
Africa between 2010 and 2016.
