Platoon is an American war film that was first broadcasted in 1986 under the directorship of Oliver Stone. Being the first trilogy film addressing the issue of the Vietnam War, this cast meant a lot to war fronts and consequent interactions between the United States and its neighboring communities. Vietnamese way of thinking was a threat to American soldiers since it affected their trust in the United State's governing system and risked their lives during the war.
