Employees’ empowerment is increasing traction among various organizations that a seeking to establish and maintain a competitive edge. According to Gkorezis et al., (2011), the primary challenge affecting organizations is coming up with a good employees’ empowerment mix that can pass the test of time given the diversified human resource requirements. The need to empower has become of a superior concern based on the facts that every firm in the business arena is striving to maintain the best employees; those that can present an organization with leverage in moving forward and fructifying the corporate agendas.

First, a leader can empower workforce by organizing training programs that are aimed at improving skills within the job environment. A leader may hire training experts who ensure the employees are equipped with knowledge concerning the currents issues; such as usage of computers, training on policy implementation, and advising on decision making.
