Purpose of the Ethics Policy; Policy Brief and Purpose

All company staff are required to comply with the Ethics Policy. The Code of ethics policy's primary goal is to deter any wrongdoing, encourage honesty and ethical conduct, and ensure that company business is carried out ethically and legally in the best possible way. The expected benefit of having an ethics policy is that it provides a moral course during turbulent times. It also helps create a safe working environment for all the employees, and it helps nurture trust between the organization and its stakeholders (Grigoropoulos, 2019). Also, the document provides the team with guidelines on the company’s business ethics and the stance on different controversial issues that could arise in the business. These are just guiding principles, but we trust that each employee will apply their better judgment. The ethics policy and associated guidelines are intended to act as a guide that the staff can fall back on when they are unsure (like in cases of conflict of interest). Also, the policy will be used to guide the team on the consequences of violating the business code of ethics.
