Benvenuto Cellini, Perseus with the Head of Medusa

During this week’s museum assignment, I visited a museum in my community and documented my observation. When I entered, I saw many fascinating artifacts, but I was attracted to a particular one which was at the far end of the museum hall. I saw a strong man holding a sword and the head of a human being. The artifact appeared naked, and the piece of a garment was hanging from behind. The sword has a hook, and the man was holding it firmly on his right hand.

The color of the artwork was creamish for all the component. However, information sourced from Beth and David (2015) indicated that the artwork has also been presented in black color hence may appear different depending on the museum that on visits. The form of the artwork resembles a human being.
