Part 1: Write a  1 page Performance Review Planning outline your overall approach and strategy for delivering a performance review to the employee mentioned. This should be a one-page document detailing the considerations you prioritized when deciding what information to include, how to include it, criteria for modality selection (i.e., written or “face-to-face” delivery), and any additional strategies that influenced your approach. Note: this is the only portion of the assignment that is not intended for the “employee”. Part 2: Write a Performance Review Included in this written evaluation should be an overall assessment of the employee’s contributions to the organization, specific reflections on year-to-date performance indicators, and action items to guide improvements. Managers also have the option of including additional information that is relevant to the employee’s work/performance. Part 3: Write a Annual Performance Review Meeting review, elaborate, or further detail information relevant to the employee’s performance. Often, this is a chance to expand upon details from the written performance review. Dynacut encourages managers to leverage this time to deliver good and bad information as necessary while engaging employees on multiple levels to maximize the value of the performance review for all parties involved.
