Introduction
Medical administration is a planned use of drugs with the aim of improving a patient’s state of health. Hence, it is crucial for a person prescribing the medicine to use them correctly and follow manufacturer’s recommendation, and most importantly, aligning the activities with the best practice guiding nursing practitioners. Drug administration can be fructified using different ways such as; inhaling, swallowing, injecting or smoking among other ways. RN is a registered nurse who has attained an associate degree in nursing and can work in a medical hospital or office after having specialized within different therapeutic areas. In the process of administering medicine, an RN should be concerned with the safety of the patient by ensuring attributes such as right patient, right medicine, right time, right documentation, dosage are double checked to eliminate errors and sensitizing patients about specific drug administration method.
