How should you respond to a crisis
Crises are sometimes hard to predict,
but once it happens as in COVID-19, some measures need to be put in place to
curb the spread or prevent the number of cases to arise. In the article, Dave Eggers wrote the
response deployed to ensure Adam does not commit suicide on the hospital bed,
the doctor Chucker, provided that someone alongside his hospital bed was
watching Adam. Fish also confirmed that the bags Adam had no harmful things
packed in. he had to check and repack only good stuff, so when he gets out of
the hospital, he will be set to start a new life(Eggers, 2021). Crises situations need you to
understand them well, have broad knowledge and respond appropriately like on
the pandemic of COVID-19; wearing a mask, washing hands, keeping social
distance, and creating awareness are ways of responding.

measures to curb the pandemic are put in place. This was a job opportunity that
presented itself. The crisis also provides good lesson plans to nations and
individuals to be predictable and plan well if such a situation occurs again.
