What you need to do is provide a brief paragraph that does the three things listed above: (1) introduces the topic to be discussed, (2) states the thesis, and (3) lists the premises you will defend in order to demonstrate the truth of that thesis. Again, the topic doesn’t matter: it can be football, or mandatory mask orders, or Socrates, or your favorite color. What matters in this activity is the form of the thing: (1) introduce the topic, (2) present the conclusion you’re arguing for, (3) explain the reasons you will give to defend that conclusion
