You are required to analyse the strategic direction of an organization. Your analysis must include the organisation’s environment and competitors, and explain whether its strategy is effective. Then use concepts from the module to explain why and make criticism of past choices and include recommendations for the future (taking into account any expected changes in the environment). Your paper should clearly define the issue(s) facing the organization with analysis of the situation using the concepts and tools of the module to develop a specific plan of action for the organization. Please choose a trading company or world known company for analysis and develop specific recommendations from your standpoint. Do not plagiarise, but reference and cite correctly. In summary, your paper should cover the following areas: a) How does the current vision, mission and strategy influence the company’s overall success? b) What are the external, internal and competitive environmental factors affecting the company? c) What are the anticipated changes in the environment and/or competition that may affect the future direction of the company? d) Demonstrate critical analysis of the past strategic choices and propose action plans. e) Use appendices to provide detailed supporting evidence and integrate key points from the appendices into your answers. References (10%), use Harvard Referencing with a minimum of 12 references This assignment requires you to demonstrate the skills learned in this module and display critical thinking ability.
