Current State This phase of your paper should be 3 pages in length double spaced. Use APA formatting.  Include a cover page and a reference page. You should have at least 3 sources, you can use your textbook as one. You do not need an abstract for this phase of your paper. Provide the most Current State of Affairs regarding [your topic].  Describe and/or explain recent news, present developments and how the situation is evolving.  Summarize the most recent research, new discoveries, and innovations.  List some of the thought leaders (people/organization) who are at the forefront of new development regarding [your topic]. Basically, provide the: who, what, where, how, and why of the current state of affairs regarding [your topic].  In addition, provide related or causal factor driving or shaping the evolution of [your topic]. Depending on the topic you chose, you may not be able to answer all the questions above. That is okay, they are only suggestions. However, you should illuminate what is happening (right now) regarding your topic.
