Literary Analysis of Gender Theory in Anthem

Gender theory sparks light on how people become gendered in a community and how correlated sexual orientations are assigned at the time of birth. All communities have a specific categorization that they use to determine the gender identity, which leads to personal identity concerning all other members of society. Gender, in Anthem, was accorded high value and determined role, expectations, and more so, the nature and amount of control an individual would have in society.
