Listening Examples review

INSTRUCTIONS:

listen to each piece, and pick (2) two pieces to write a short reflection on your FIRST/INITIAL thoughts of the piece; then please include the answers to the next set of questions: What is the meter (duple, triple or quadruple)? What is the form of the piece: Sonata-Allegro, Symphony, Tone Poem, Program Music, or other? Do these pieces have ANY comparison with another Era that we have viewed?  If so, which one? What does the piece "say to you" as you listen?  Is there something that makes it more interesting to you than other pieces in the listening examples?  These pieces are all EXTREMELY unique, and evoke many, different points and images.  Take your time with each of these pieces.  You are asked to respond the questions to TWO of these pieces.  Dig deep, and see what you come up with, as you may just find that you like more of these than you think!   https://youtu.be/jRHoKZRYBlY  (Links to an external site.) https://youtu.be/pTZbRADSP8k  (Links to an external site.) https://youtu.be/kokbJvSEMUY  (Links to an external site.) https://youtu.be/v_uFd83ExMg  (Links to an external site.) https://youtu.be/AlUHKHLk_VU  (Links to an external site.)
