I am writing this letter
to depict my resolve to join the university’s Department of Applied Human
Sciences. Recently I attended an academic fair organized by the university’s Faculty
of Arts and Science where I spoke to a few officials from your department. I
relished learning about your department because I realized that it offers
different challenging and innovative programs in family life education, youth
work, human systems intervention, community services, leisure sciences, and
human relations. Hence, I am interested in the various experiences provided by
your department since they can lead me to advance my personal and career
aspirations.
I am convinced that the department’s training will facilitate the realization of my short-term goals. I believe my success will rely on having realistic and timely short-term goals that will help me in making smart decisions.
