INSTRUCTIONS:
Using what you have learned about language loss and language revitalization, think about examples that you know about, and describe (in 3-4 sentences, or more if you wish) one example of each: language loss, and language revitalization. The examples can be drawn from the textbook, your life, or those of you who you know, or people you have heard about. You can also look up examples on the internet. It's up to you. For example, it might be interesting to take a look at regions where you have lived in your lifetime or where your family members have lived, and to look into languages in those regions that have been lost or are at risk of dying out -- as well as languages there that are flourishing.
